Application of a New Catalytic Flue Gas Desulphurization Technology in Smelting Exhaust Gas Treatment

This paper introduced the technical principle and technical characteristics of a new catalytic flue gas desulfurization technology which was a low temperature catalytic oxidation technology. SO2 can be converted to sulfuric, that can be used directly or used in producing other products. The technology does not produce secondary pollution and has certain economic benefit, therefore, it has been used in the sulfuric acid industry and smelting industry. Based on the characteristics of smelting exhaust, this paper analyzed the design points, running condition and improving measures in exhaust gas treatment project.
