| Abstract: | Total bile acid concentration in third trimester amniotic fluid was determined using an enzymatic technique and fluorometry. The technique was successfully applied to the prenatal diagnosis of intestinal obstruction in a 33-week fetus from a pregnancy presenting with polyhydramnios. |
