Abstract: | The 30 species of limnic and marine fishes analyzed in the present study represent excellent foods for inclusion in diets that require a low sodium content. In none of these species, not even in the marine ones, did the content of sodium exceed the maximum amount (100 mg/100 g fish meat) specified by food authorities for low sodium diets. |
