| Abstract: | This paper presented an investigation into the status quo of pulp and paper industries in Hubei Province, giving emphasis to analyzing cost/benefit of the factories in terms of pollution abatement. Based on the investigation, comments and recommendations relating to pollution control and structural adjustment of pulp/paper industries were put forward in accordance with the relative industrial and technical guidelines issued by the state government. |
