Review on Forest Carbon Sequestration Market in China

Based on a literature review of relevant research work, this paper attempted to trace development vein of forest carbon sequestration market in China, from necessity, feasibility and the significance of construction forest carbon sequestration market, the measurement of forest carbon se- questration reserves, forest carbon sequestration market operation mode and operation mechanism, and put forward further research prospect. This paper believed that future research should be innovative integration of forest carbon sequestrations reserves method. The political, legal, institutional, policy, environment and market mechanism shoud be considered as a whole to improve forest carbon sequestration market in China, and should strengthen the micro - level research of market main body from the perspective of supply and demand.
