| Abstract: | The definition, classification and characteristics of the mobile bed biofilm reactor are presented in this article. The advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of mobile bed biofilm reactors and their application in wastewater treatment are reviewed. Based on the treatment efficiency, the suitable application situations are summarized for different reactors. |
