Abstract:Chemotaxis is the directed movements of cells in response to a concentration gradient of a chemical attractant or repellent, which is important in a number of theoretical and practical fields. The mechanism of bacterial chemotaxis, chemotactic locomotion of bacterial population and individual cell, and the related experimental methods are reviewed in this paper. Ref 55
