香港地区土壤中的γ辐射本底值研究

摘    要:本文报道香港地区土壤的γ辐射本底值的测定方法.测得该地区以碘化钠晶体在1m高度的γ辐射吸收剂量率平均值为70.7mrad/a(γ能量下限为100keV).若按90kvV以上计.平均值则上升11%.测定结果表明,珠江沉积地带及水塘区的环境辐射较强,工业区辐射本底值也显著地高,而海水冲刷地带的本底值较低.

Abstract:This paper presents the results measured of the backgroud radiation due to soil in Hongkong. The average absorbed r-dose rate in NaI crystal due to soil at one metre above ground was found to be 70.7 mrad/a, with the lower limit considered being 100 keV. If the lower limit was taken to be 90 keV, the average value should go up by 11%. The results showed the places formed by accumulation of soils washed down from Pearl River and the area of water reservoirs are relatively high. The background radiation in industrial zone is also significantly high. Places with continuous washing by sea water show low radiation levels.
