| Abstract: | At present,researchers and designers pay more attention to the design for environment(DfE),because the design calculates environmental impacts at all stages of the product life cycle,and approaches the goal of emission reduction in the stage of product design.The design for environment has been mainly promoted by some developed countries.In this paper,the researches and applications of DfE in Europe,the United States and Japan are presented.In the end,the deficiencies of DfE are introduced.It is also suggested that DfE will be introduced to China to improve the environment performance. |
