| Abstract: | Nitrification is an important step to affect nitrogen removal in biological treatment processes. This paper reviews the current progress,analyses and discusses the characteristics of nitrificationin two aspects:the inhibition mechanism of herotrophs oxidation nitrification and the influence ofreactor’s structure on nitrification. This will provide reference for increasing the capacity of nitrogenremoval and improving steady operation and designing plants. |
