| Abstract: | Cyclosporin A, one of the most powerful immunosuppressants used in transplantation surgery, was shown to be degraded very slowly, within some months, by wet samples of garden soil. A standard procedure for the evaluation of cyclosporin A degradation was developed and practicized using HPLC methods. In the course of a special screening several degrading strains have been isolated from soil samples. |
