Discussion on Optimizing Operational Management of Urban Sewage Treatment Plant

According to the operation experiences of many urban sewage treatment plants, this paper discusses some measures to optimize the operational management of urban sewage treatment plants, such as optimizing process control, improving and ra- tionalizing production schedule, strengthening equipment management, enhancing security management, controlling cost and so on. The urban sewage treatment plant aims to achieve secure, stable and efficient operation. Enhancing the operational manage- ment of urban sewage treatment plants play an important role in achieving the environment benefits of sewage treatment plant as well as national energy saving and emission reduction. The operating costs could be reduced at the same time, moving a step fur- ther towards sustainable development of sewage treatment plant.
