Abstract: | The influence of light intensity and wavelength on orientation and velocity of male and female Anomalocera patersoni is summarized. G test and variance analysis show that light intensity and wavelength can affect the orientation and the velocity of male individuals, but do not significantly affect the polarization coefficient of female individuals. Nevertheless, photopositive reactions are dominant in both sexes, and the parameters studied may be modified by temperature changes. |
