| Abstract: | This paper describes the present knowledges of pelletized sludge in thermophilic anaerobic reactors such as UASB and AFB in terms of components, forms and the roles in degradation of organic pollutants. Emphasis is put on some factors affecting pelletized sludge forming, i.e., temperature, sludge loads, volatile fat acids (VFA) concentration hydraulic regime in the reactors. |
