Survey and Improvement Countermeasures of Eco-environment and Health Literacy Level in Hubei Province

According to the assessment indicators put forward in"The Opinions of the State Council on the Implementation of Healthy China Program"and"The Healthy China Program(2019—2030)"issued and released by the State Council in July 2019,when the sum of the respondent’s score in three first-level classification indicators of eco-environment and health literacy,namely,basic concept,basic knowledge and basic skill,is no less than 70%of the full score,the respondents are considered to have the eco-environment and health literacy.The level of eco-environment and health literacy for the residents,as measured by the percents of total population,should reach 15%and 25%or above by 2022 and 2030,respectively.The Ministry of Ecology and Environment(formerly known as the Ministry of Environmental Protection)organized and completed the first survey of residents’ecological environment and health literacy(formerly known as"residents’environmental and health literacy")nationwide in 2018.In this paper,the concepts and contents of ecological environment and health literacy were expounded,the status and level of the survey in Hubei Province were introduced,and the results were compared with those of the national survey.The relationship between health management and health literacy was discussed,and the factors influencing health literacy and the significance of improving health literacy were analyzed.Finally,the measures to improve the ecological environment and health literacy of residents in Hubei Province were proposed.
