From the point of view of regional sustainable development, this article emphatically analyses the advantages and disadvantages which approving land lease brings to the economic construction, agriculture or grain production and environmental protection, and points out that this land lease can boost local economy, use resources rationally, maintain environment effectively, and raise the level of social development. The key is to adroitly guide actions according to circumstances and tighten up management so as to attain the objective of sustainable development.
