Abstract:Pot culture experiment with electro-ultrafiltration (EUF) was carried out to study the response of tobacco to K fertilizer and change in soil K after planting tobacco on yellow-red soil. The results showed that the medium rate of K fertilizer could significantly increased yield of cured leaves and coordinated the proportion of sugar to nicotine, thus improving tobacco quality. The values of EUF-K(0-10), EUF-K(10-30) and EUF-K(30-35) decreased by 45%, 25% and 6%, respectively, after planting tobacco without K application.The intensity, quantity and potentiality of soil potassium increased obviously after planting tobacco with K application. There were delayed effects of K ferilizer on yello-red soil.
