| Abstract: | Activated carbon (AC) is used widely catalyst and adsorption material, and its capabilities are related to the pore structure and the surface chemical properties. In accordance with the adsorption of different substances on the surface properties of AC, AC is activated and modified to content with the various demands of the special purposes. The techniques of activation and modification are overviewed. |
