| Abstract: | The synthesis of five chlorinated dibenzofurans and three chlorinated animodibenzofurans from easily available diphenyl ethers is described. Also reported is the preparation of the diphenyl ethers. The 1H-NMR and mass spectra data for the compounds are also reported. |
