| Abstract: | The treatment of arsenic-containing wastewater prepared in the laboratory has been tested with steel slag. The effects of slag dosage,pH of wastewater, and mixing time on the removal efficiency of arsenic were studied.The results showed that steel slag had a high capacity of removing arsenic, with the efficiency coming up to more than 98%, under the conditions of 1.5-9.0 of wastewater pH value,10-200mg/L of arsenic, 1/2000 of As/slag. This method is simple and low cost, providing a new way for the treatment of arsenic-containing wastewater. |
