Analysis of Hazard Identification in Establishing OSHMS

Hazard identification is the very important process of establishing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS). It is the basic and decisive part of OSHMS. How to effectively execute the process of hazard identification is the key factor for any corporation to establish the OSHMS. In this paper, how to identify all sorts of hazards existing in the corporation is particularly discussed, which includes the confirmation of the scope of hazard identification, the classes of the hazard factors, the partition of the district of work, the choice of the way the hazard will be identified and so on. The illustration is about the metallurgy industry in this paper, but it can be used for reference during the hazard identification in other industries.
