| Abstract: | The article defines the SEA (Strategic Environment Assessment), reviews its research, development and legislation in China and the US, and the research as well as praetice in other areas and organizations. It stresses that the SEA responds to the requirement of the development and improvement of Environtal Impact Assessment (EIA) systern and of the supervision and to be enhanced. |
