| Abstract: | The development of resources dependent cities and towns depend strongly on the natural resources,so its characteristics and laws of development are different from that of the others.The scholars in the Western countries have studied thoroughly these characteristics and laws.Referring to the papers published in the international authentic geographical periodicals in English,the authors summarize and induce the main research content and progress on the resources dependent cities and towns in the West.The general research condition was also appraised. |
