| Abstract: | There are many kinds of natural disasters which cause serious damages inXinjiang. The most dangerous natural disasters are earthquake, geological disaster, meteorological disaster and flood disaster: A lot of events are given as eamples in the paper, indicating that the natural disasters have caused great losses in the economy of Xinjiang. The paper summarized the features of these disasters such as regionality, seasonality, overlap-ability, repeatability and artificiality, disaster reduction tactics are discussed eventually. |
