| Abstract: | The ecological-economic nature of catastrophe has been discussed and proved by examining the development of catastrophic concept, the formation mechanism,process,and consequences of catastrophes. The enunciation of ecological-economic nature of catastrophes set up a theory basis for systematic research of catastrophe. |
