| Abstract: | The feasibility of using micronuclei cells in Lilium davidii root-tip cells as an indicator for pollutants was studied. It has been shown that the percentage of micronuclei cells in Lilium davidii root-tip cells is related closely to the quality and quantity of the pollutants in water and there is a linear relationship between the concentrations of pollutants and the percentage of micronuclei cells. The percentage of micronuclei cells in Lilium davidii root-tip cells is more sensitive than that in horsebeans. |
