| Abstract: | Empirical equations which correlate high performance liquid chromatography capacity factor (k′) to aromatic hydrocarbon aqueous solubility are developed. The correlations of k′ to octanol-water partition coefficients, and k′ to hydrocarbon surface area are also shown. |
