Abstract:	Studies on the effects of 21 fungicides and five pyrethroid insecticides on growth of $Rhizobium$ $meliloti$ , emergence and survival of alfalfa seed and the efficacy of the chemicals in control of Verticillium wilt pathogens were conducted.
