Abstract:Daphnia magna were exposed to di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) and to di-isodecyl phthalate (DIDP) at nominal concentrations up to 100 μg/1 over a 21 day period. The phthalates had no effect on reproduction, and the parent Daphnia showed bioconcentration factors of 209 (DEHP) and 116 (DIDP) as determined by 14C analysis.
