Abstract:this paper discussed the feasibility of small scale sand filter using after the wet dust removal through the realistic examples. Nowadays, we have two kinds of technologies of dust removal domestically, one is dry dust removal,the other is wet dust removal, comparing them,it is easy for the former to operate and reuse the byproduct, but it is difficult to repair and technical demand is very high;the later have simple structure,but it is diffcult to repair and technical demand is very high;The later have simple structure,and the capital is low,also it occupies very small land and easy to repair and have high purification efficiency. So the later is very popular domestically. But it will produce waste water, also it is very difficult for us to reuse the byproducts. Alot of factories discharge them to the water body directly withot theatment. It will polluted the water and make the organisms die . If it discharge to the plantation,it will acidify the soil and lower the productivity of agriculture. So it will not only waste the water resources bt also produce the second time pollution, With the development of the society, People will pay more attention to the environment gradually. So we nust treat the waste water of the wet dust removal and reust the byproducts.
