| Abstract: | River bed silting-up, the change in flow tendency of the main ravine and volume of debris flow are the main causes of the diversion dike burst at the lower reaches of the Jiangjia ravine in September of 1999. The countermeasures are put forward based on the analysis and study of these causes. |
