Abstract:The experiment was conducted on a bench-scaled anaerobic-aerobic baffled reactor treating a stream of wastewater from a big farm in Tianjin's suburb.The reactor features three columns,within which fixed bio-films are cultivated and attached on fabric media,and growth of the films is investigated,as well as the influence of hydraulic retention time(HRT) on treatment efficiency.The experimental study shows fairly good effects have been achieved with HRT 24 hr in terms of removals of COD and NH4+-N from the wa...
