Building Environmental Assessment in Hong Kong

Awareness was increasing about the large impact which buildings had on the environment in Hon Kong and therefore Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Method(HK - BEAM) had been developed. It dealed with the background, aims, process and methods of HK-BEAM. As building environmental assessment was not being carried out in China efficiently, it also suggested that effective building environmental assessment be put into practice as quickly as possible to improve urban ecosystem and attain sustainable development of the cities.
