Study on Work Procedure of Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment on UHV Power Transmission Project

The legitimacy and effectiveness of public participation procedure affect the quality of environmental impact assess-ment on UHV power transmission project directly.It not only relate to the public's right to know, right to supervision and right to participate in environmental protection, but also relate to the project's environmental administrative licensing.Based on the actual public participation in environmental impact assessment on UHV power transmission project, this study specifies the order and procedure for the first announcement, the simple report publicity, the second announcement, the survey of public attitudes, the acceptance and approval publicity of environmental administrative licensing.
