An Approach to the Role of Environmental NGOs in Environment Protection

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have been developing very fast in the international com- munity since the 1980s. As one of the most important targets of those organizations,environment protection gains the recognition of the international community gradually. Environmental NGOs have been a newly emerg- ing force in global environment protection. It was analysed starting with the basic conceptions why they appeared, how they were working in the field of global environment protection,and what was their foreground? Finally, environmental NGOs suggested the role in environment protection in China.
