| Abstract: | The great contradiction appears because of the conservation of Dujiangyan ancient irrigation project and the Zipingpu Reservoir with a hydroelectric station which is planning to built just at the head of the Duiangyan landscape with culture and ancent beauty. The three standards in cluding aestheticss economy and cultural aspects are put forward for assessment of the Dujiangyan's unparalleled value and importance, and its basic reservation approaches are also discussed. The reasons for the coexistance impossibility of Dujiangyan and Zipingpu are expounded. |
