Abstract: | Neutrino Physics in recent decades has undergone a rapid growth and has evolved into a discipline of relevance for various research fields, ranging from geophysics to cosmology. On the other hand, however, the knowledge that we have about the neutrino itself, i.e., its very nature and intrinsic properties, is still rather fragmentary. This article summarizes the present status of pure and applied neutrino physics, emphasizing on pointing out the links to neighboring disciplines. |
