| Abstract: | Changes of five phosphorus species, which were total soluble phosphorus (TSP), soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP), total reactive phosphorus (TRP), soluble hydrolytic phosphorus (SHP) and UV soluble reactive phosphoruv (UVSRP) were studied during the growth of Selenastrum capricornutum. The uptake rate and time that the maximum rate happened of each P species were obtained by means of two methods, and the results showed that in three investigated lakes, the uptake rate of TRP, SRP and TSP were comparatively faster while those of UVSRP and SHP were relatively slower among the five P species, the maximum rate of SRP was reached first while that of UVSRP and SHP were the last in the three studied lakes. |
