| Abstract: | According to the practical experience of determining total hardness of water with EDTA titration method, this study improved the EDTA titration method. Through comparative determination of the total hardness in surface water, groundwater and the standard samples by the improved method and the national standard method, the improved method was confirmed to be more accurate and reliable, and the operation was more convenient and fast. |
