Abstract:Treating bean-food wastewater by using PSB contact-oxyuation process has been made in order to purify high concentration organic waste water under the conditions of limited space. Upflow contact oxidation reactor with two slages has been adopted. Under the following conditions:influence CODCr reaches 10500mg/L(BOD56000mg/L), container A volume load 10.48kg CODCr/M3-day (6kg BOD5/M3·day), container A effluent-CODCr reaches 836 mg/L(BOD5 148mg/L), percentage of CODCr removal 92%(BOD5 removal percentage 97.5%). Under the conditions:container A+B volume load reaches 5.24kg CODCr/M3·day (3kg BOD5/M3·day), effluent container A+B reaches 395mg/L(BOD5, 38.7mg/L), percentage of CODCr removal 96.2%(BOD5 removal percentage 99.4%).The quantity of PSB measured and the ratio of PSB/heterotrophic bacteria in container A, which bears high load, is larger that that in container B. This illustrates that PSB is suitable to high load treatment. In this investigation, the principle and method for treating effluence of PSB stage has been considered.
