| Abstract: | The fault tree of bench blasting operation at large scale openpit mines is built up, of which the relevant factors are qualitatively analysed. The key factors of affecting blasting quality are obtained with the minimum cut set principle. Accordingly, some significant measures for the prevention of blasting accidents and the improvement of blasting quality are put forwardin the paper. |
