Eutrophication conditions and ecological status in typical bays of Lake Taihu in China 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Sampling was conducted at three site groups, group E (in East Taihu Bay), G (in Gonghu Bay) and M (in Meiliang Bay) in Lake
Taihu. TN and TP concentrations among site groups was in the increasing order of E < G < M. TP level at G sites is at the
critical threshold for loss of submersed macrophytes. Mean values of DO and Transparence showed different trend, i.e., E >
G > M. The mean phytoplankton fresh-weight biomass at M sites was 5.81 mg/l, higher than that at E sites (4.96 mg/l) and G
sites (5.18 mg/l). Mean zooplankton fresh-weight biomass was in the decreasing order of M (6.4 mg/l) > G (4.9 mg/l) > E (2.7 mg/l).
However, Rotifera density was in the sequence of E > G > M. Both zooplankton biomass and phytoplankton biomass increased with the rise of TN
and TP concentrations. Relationships between zooplankton biomass and phytoplankton biomass showed that zooplankton played
a limited role in the control of algae in eutrophic lakes. Nutrient availability is much more important than zooplankton grazing
pressure in controlling phytoplankton growth in lakes. For most sites in Lake Taihu, reduction of nutrient loading, as well
as macrophyte conservation, zappears to be especially important in maintaining high water quality and regulating lake biological
structure, but for M sites, it’s urgent to control nutrient inputs rather than to restore macrophyte community. 相似文献

Thermophilic anaerobic digestion of swine manure represents a potential waste treatment technology to address environmental concerns, such as odor emissions and removal of pathogenic microorganisms. However, there are concerns relative to the stability of this process when swine manure is the sole substrate. In this study, the potential of biogas production from swine manure as the sole substrate under thermophilic (50 degrees C) conditions was investigated in the laboratory, to determine whether separation of urine and feces as part of the waste collection process would benefit anaerobic digestion. Effluent from a continuously stirred tank reactor was used as the inoculum for batch tests, in which the substrate contained three different concentrations of urine (urine-free, as-excreted urine-to-feces ratio and double the as-excreted urine-to-feces ratio). Inocula were acclimated to these same urine-to-feces ratios to determine methane production. Results show that both urine-free and as-excreted substrates were not inhibitory to anaerobic inocula. Anaerobic microorganisms can be readily acclimated to substrate with double the as-excreted urine concentration, which contained nitrogen concentrations up to 7.20 g/L. Toxic trace elements emitted during coal combustion are the main sources of air pollution. They are released into the atmosphere
mainly in the forms of fine ash, smoke and flue, and thus adversely affect plant, animal and human health. Selenium is one
of toxic and the most volatile in coal. Large amount of atmospheric emission of selenium, as well as selenium present and
scrubber stockpiles in ash may create serious environmental problems. In the paper, on the basis of investigating the abundance
and distribution of selenium in plant-rings during recent 20 years, the bioaccumulation of selenium is explained that selenium
in plant, which were collected from the village of selenium-rich coal combustion, is much higher than that in plants collected
away from the village of selenium-rich coal combustion. The main origins of selenium are selenium-rich coal combustion and

固定化混合菌修复油污染地表水的研究 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
从辽河油田受石油污染的河床底泥中筛选出一株芽孢杆菌(Bacillus sp.)和一株黄杆菌(Flavobacterium sp.),采用二次交联化学方法对2株细菌单独及混合固定,分别进行了不同接种量的固定化细菌对油的降解,以及固定化混合菌对环境的耐受性和在自然地表水中对油的降解进行研究,结果表明,在相同时间内固定化混合菌对油的降解效果明显优于固定化单株菌,而且都优于游离菌。固定化混合菌pH在6~10、温度在20~40℃范围内能保持较好的活性。在120 h时,固定化混合菌对自然地表水中油的降解率达94.5%,对地表水中COD的去除率达89.6%。扫描电子显微镜分析显示,固定化载体的微观结构适合细菌的生长,固定化混合菌在载体内部形成高密度的菌群。以上的研究为固定化微生物应用于油污染地表水的生物修复提供了一定的理论基础。 相似文献
