The solubility in pure and saline water at various temperatures was calculated for selected nitro compounds (nitrobenzene, 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene, 2-nitrotoluene, 3-nitrotoluene, 4-nitrotoluene, 2,4-dinitrotoluene, 2,6-dinitrotoluene, 2,3-dinitrotoluene, 3,4-dinitrotoluene, 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene) using the Conductor-like Screening model for Real Solvents (COSMO-RS). The results obtained were compared with experimental values. The COSMO-RS predictions have shown high accuracy in reproducing the trends of aqueous solubilities for both temperature and salinity. The proposed methodology was then applied to predict the aqueous solubilities of 19 nitro compounds in the temperature range of 5-50 °C in saline solutions. The salting-out parameters of the Setschenow equation were also calculated. The predicted salting-out parameters were overestimated when compared to the measured values, but these parameters can still be used for qualitative estimation of the trends.  相似文献

Abstract

A commercial flowable formulation of tebufenozide, RH‐5992 2F [N'‐t‐butyl‐N'‐(3,5‐dimethylbenzoyl)‐N‐(4‐ethylbenzoyl) hydrazine], was diluted with water, water and canola oil, and water and the methyl ester of canola oil, to provide six end‐use mixes with concentrations of 35 and 70 g of active ingredient (Al) litre‐1. The mixes were applied at 70 and 140 g Al ha‐1 over white spruce [Picea glauca (Moench) Voss] seedlings in a laboratory spray chamber and foliar concentrations of tebufenozide were determined over a 60‐d period. At intervals of time post‐spray, seedlings were sprayed with monosized droplets of Sunspray®11N as rainfall, and the amount of tebufenozide knocked off from foliage was determined. The potential energy of adhesion (PEA) of the Al particles on the foliage increased with time and varied according to the type of end‐use mix, its viscosity and the dosage sprayed.

The end‐use mixes were applied over white spruce trees under field conditions and persistence of tebufenozide was investigated. DT50 values were influenced by the type of mix and dosage sprayed. Oil‐containing mixes and higher dosages increased the PEA of tebufenozide particles.  相似文献

Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is the most widely used oxygenate in gasoline blending and has become one of the world’s most widespread groundwater and surface water pollutants. Alternative oxygenates to MTBE, namely ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl ether (TAME) and diisopropyl ether (DIPE) have been hardly studied yet. The solubility of these chemicals is a key thermodynamic information for the assessment of the fate and transport of these pollutants. This work reports experimental data of water solubility at the range from 278.15 to 313.15 K and atmospheric pressure of ethers used in fuels (MTBE, ETBE, TAME and DIPE) due to the strong influence of temperature on its trend. From the experimental data, temperature dependent polynomials were fitted, thermodynamic parameters were calculated and theoretical models were used for prediction. Finally, the tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) influence in the solubility of MTBE and ETBE in aqueous media was studied.  相似文献

Oligomers of poly(3-hydroxybutyric acid) (P(3-HB)) were prepared by partial degradation of high molecular weight P(3-HB) dissolved in 1,2-dichloroethane/water mixture in the presence of p-toluene sulfonic acid (p-TSA). The water-soluble fraction of the resulting oligomers was extracted from the mixture with neutral sodium phosphate buffer. Capillary zone electrophoresis showed that the aqueous extracts were composed of two series of oligomers. The first one was composed of one to seven P(3-HB) oligomers (O(3-HB)). In contrast, the second series was composed of four oligomers characterized by the presence of a terminal C=C bond [O’(3-HB)]. Both series of oligomers behaved differently insofar as their fate in aqueous medium was concerned. The 0(3-HB) compounds were stable over a period of 2 months. On the other hand, the population of the O’(3-HB) oligomers varied, the proportion of oligomers increasing with aging time.  相似文献

以农业上常用有机物料绿肥、猪粪和污泥作为水溶性有机物(DOM)的提取材料,以菲(Phe)作为多环芳烃(PAHs)的代表,通过摇瓶法研究了不同来源的DOM对菲在水中的表观溶解度和正辛醇/水分配系数的影响.结果表明,菲在超纯水中的溶解近似一级反应动力学过程.超纯水体系中添加了DOM后,菲溶解的平衡时间相对滞后,但却明显增加了菲的表观溶解度.当DOM浓度为150 mg·L-1(以DOC计)时,在含Tween-80、猪粪DOM、污泥DOM和绿肥DOM的体系中菲的表观溶解度分别是纯水体系的20.39、2.082、1.838和1.549倍.菲的表观溶解度随着外加DOM浓度的增加而增大,它们之间存在着明显的线性关系.回归直线的斜率可以用来表征DOM对菲的增溶效果,本试验4种体系中DOM的增溶效果大小依次为表面活性剂Tween-80>猪粪DOM>污泥DOM>绿肥DOM.同时,DOM可降低菲的正辛醇/水溶液分配系数,各体系中logKow值的高低顺序与增溶效果的顺序恰好相反.研究结果显示,DOM的存在可明显地改变PAHs在水相中的溶解度和正辛醇/水溶液分配系数.  相似文献

This study investigated the electrokinetic (EK) behavior of multiple chlorobenzenes, including 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene (TeCB), 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene (i-TeCB), and 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene (TCB) in contaminated clayed soils. The effect of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) on the EK removal of the chlorobenzenes was studied. The largest removal was obtained when Na2CO3/NaHCO3 buffer was used as anodic purging solution without β-CD. The removal efficiencies were related to the aqueous solubilities of chlorobenzenes. With the same cumulative electroosmotic flow, greater solubility led to higher removal efficiency. The addition of β-CD inhibited the EK removal efficiency of all chlorobenzenes. The inhibition increased with the increase of β-CD concentration. With the same β-CD concentration, the inhibition increased with the rise of electric potential. It was found that the inclusion compounds between β-CD and chlorobenzenzes were less soluble than chlorobenzenes. The formation of the less soluble inclusion compounds reduced the aqueous solubility of chlorobenzenes and led to the partial immobilization of the chlorobenzenes that desorbed from soil. It was feasible to use the EK technology to remove chlorobenzenes in contaminated soils using water as the anodic flushing solution. The addition of β-CD was not recommended for the EK removal of chlorobenzenes.  相似文献

有毒有机化合物在水中的溶解度(WS)及正辛醇/水分配系数(K_(ow)),是描述其在环境中行为的两个重要物理化学参数。本文用溶解度平衡曲线法和振荡法,测得单甲脒在水中的溶解度为21.8±1.3mg/1(25℃),其在正辛醇/水中的分配系数lgK_(ow)为2.92±0.06。  相似文献
