In this study, an in situ microwave activated platinum electrode was developed for the first time to completely incinerate the azo dye simulated wastewater containing methyl orange. The experiments were carried out in a circulating system under atmospheric pressure. Azo bond of methyl orange was partly broken on Pt, certain decoloration was reached, and the total organic carbon was not removed effectively without microwave activation. However, methyl orange was mineralized completely and efficiently on the in situ microwave activated Pt. 2,5-Dinitrophenol, p-nitrophenol, hydroquinone, benzoquinone, maleic and oxalic acids are the main intermediates during degradation of methyl orange. Aromatic products are the main substances leading to the poisoning of Pt and decrease of electrochemical oxidation efficiency, so methyl orange removal can not be carried out thoroughly. However, the intermediates were broke down quickly with in situ microwave activation promoting the mineralization of methyl orange on Pt. 相似文献

采用Fenton法处理湿法腈纶聚合废水,考察了H2O2投加量、Fe2+投加量、p H和反应时间等因素对氧化和混凝作用去除废水污染物的影响,并分析了废水可生化性和特征污染物的变化。结果表明,Fenton法可以有效去除废水中有机污染物,在初始p H为3.0,Fe2+投加量为15.0 mmol/L,H2O2投加量为90.0 mmol/L的条件下,反应120 min后废水COD去除率可以达到56.8%,其中氧化和混凝作用对应的去除率分别为43.3%和13.5%;处理后废水的BOD5/COD由0.24升高至0.43;处理后废水中丙烯腈以及其他多数有机污染物能被有效去除。 相似文献

采用水溶液聚合法,以丙烯酸、丙烯酰胺及改性蒙脱土为原料,纳米腐植酸为基体,N,N’-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺为交联剂,过二硫酸钾为引发剂,制备了丙烯酸-蒙脱土-丙烯酰胺/纳米腐植酸复合树脂(简称复合树脂)。考察了溶液pH、吸附时间、吸附温度、初始离子浓度等因素对复合树脂分别吸附Ni~(2+)和Cd~(2+)的影响。实验结果表明:在吸附温度35℃、吸附时间90 min、溶液pH为7、初始Ni~(2+)和Cd~(2+)的浓度分别为0.02 mol/L、复合树脂加入量16.7 g/L的条件下,Ni~(2+)和Cd~(2+)的吸附量分别为383.02 mg/g和359.27 mg/g;复合树脂吸附Ni~(2+)和Cd~(2+)的吸附等温线均满足Langmuir等温吸附方程;吸附过程均符合准二级动力学方程;复合树脂重复使用6次,其对Ni~(2+)和Cd~(2+)的吸附量分别降低了17.1%和9.3%。 相似文献

This work presents an electrochemical investigation of the benzene oxidation process in aqueous solution on boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes. Additionally, in order to determine the main products generated during the oxidation process, electrolysis and high performance liquid chromatography experiments were carried out. The complete degradation of this compound was performed aiming to a further application in waste water treatment. The cyclic voltammetry studies indicate that benzene is irreversibly oxidized in acid medium (H2SO4 0.5 M) on the BDD electrode surface at 2.0 V versus Ag/AgCl in a diffusion controlled process. During the cycling, other products are generated, and a pair of peaks was observed that can be associated with the oxi-reduction of anyone of the following species: hydroquinone, benzoquinone, resorcinol or catechol. The electrolysis experiments were carried out at 2.4 and 2.5 V on the BDD electrode surface in a solution containing 1 × 10−2 M of benzene (below the saturation concentration in aqueous solution), for 3 and 5 h, respectively. The main products measured were: hydroquinone, resorcinol, p-benzoquinone, catechol and phenol. The complete electrochemical benzene degradation was performed in the electrolysis experiments using a rotating BDD disc electrode (2.5 V for 5 h) and the main products detected were all measured at concentrations lower than 10−5 M in this condition. A new electrochemically-modified BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 (represented as E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4) thin film electrode was successfully synthesized for environmental application. MoS2 and Co3O4 were grown on the surface of BiVO4 to obtain BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4. E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 film was achieved by further electrochemical treatment of BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4. The as-prepared E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 exhibited significantly enhanced photoelectrocatalytic activity. The photocurrent density of E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 thin film is 6.6 times that of BiVO4 under visible light irradiation. The degradation efficiency of E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 for bisphenol A pollutant was 81.56% in photoelectrochemical process. The pseudo-first order reaction rate constant of E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 film is 3.22 times higher than that of BiVO4. And its reaction rate constant in photoelectrocatalytic process is 14.5 times or 2 times that in photocatalytic or electrocatalytic process, respectively. The improved performance of E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 was attributed to the synergetic effects of the reduction of interfacial charge transfer resistance, the formation of oxygen vacancies and sub-stoichiometric metal oxides and higher separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. E-BiVO4-MoS2-Co3O4 is a promising composite material for pollutants removal. 相似文献

The corrosion rates of API X65 mild steel alloy in CO2 – containing produced water have been studied by weight loss technique, potentiodynamic polarization technique and characterization of the corroded surface techniques. The effect of temperature, speed of rotation, pH and acetic acid concentration were studied. The optimum condition in presence and absence of protective film were also addressed. The kinetic parameters and reaction behavior were discussed in details. Corrosion rates increases with increasing temperature, acetic acid concentration, and speed of rotation, and decreased with increasing solution pH. The primary corrosion product of API X65 mild steel is ferrous carbonate (FeCO3) at high temperatures, high pH's (alkaline media) and absence of acetic acid, which could act as a protective film so that CO2 corrosion rate can be reduced. 相似文献
