We have conducted numerical simulations of dust dispersion within the NIOSH Rock Dust Dispersion Chamber. The apparatus consists of a low-speed background ventilation flow down a long box in which is placed a tray containing a rock dust powder. A nozzle upstream of the tray introduces a short pulse of a turbulent horizontal jet flow just above the powder surface. We have utilized an incompressible Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes k-ω model for the turbulent flow; particles are incorporated within a one-way Euler-Lagrangian formalism. The Rock Dust Dispersion Chamber ventilation flow exhibits a recirculation zone just above the powder-containing tray. Aerosolization proceeds via the interplay of the jet pulse flow with the background recirculation flow. The air flow is not well-mixed. The aerosolized dust is convected as a concentration cloud downstream towards the detection zone. For larger particles, gravitational settling depletes the convected cloud, so the instrument behaves as a horizontal elutriator. The instrument is robust with respect to misalignment of the jet nozzle. However, reduced streamwise drift velocity allows mixing to disperse the optically detected dust cloud concentration pulse. Our large particle simulation results compare favorably with published experimental results for large, polydisperse calcium carbonate rock dust. 相似文献

为了优化镍转炉渣加压条件下H2SO4选择性浸出Co、Ni、Cu,抑制Fe浸出的工艺,采用响应曲面法的中心组合设计原理,建立影响选择性浸出率的二次多项式数学模型,研究浸出温度、c(H2SO4)及液固比及上述因素两两交互作用对提高Co、Ni、Cu浸出率及减少Fe浸出率的影响规律. 结果表明:浸出温度和c(H2SO4)对浸出率影响最显著,液固比次之. c(H2SO4)越高,Co、Ni、Cu和Fe的浸出率越高,而提高浸出温度有利于降低Fe浸出率. 响应曲面法优化获得的最佳工艺条件:浸出温度为210 ℃、c(H2SO4)为0.38 mol/L、液固比为4.25 mL/g,在该条件下,Co和Ni的浸出率均大于98%,Cu浸出率大于96%,Fe浸出率小于0.4%. 浸出控制参数优化后提高了有价金属的浸出率,同时也降低了Fe浸出率,实现了镍转炉渣中有价金属的回收及其与Fe的高效分离. 相似文献

Successive sediment suspensions often happen in estuary, yet little research has probed into the difference in the release behaviors of organic compounds among different suspensions. This study took polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) as typical organic contaminants and investigated the release behaviors between two successive suspensions with a particle entrainment simulator (PES). Results showed that successive sediment suspensions lowered the concentration of dissolved PAHs in the overlying water via facilitating the re-adsorption of dissolved PAHs onto the suspended particles. Fast-release and slow-release periods of PAHs were successively observed in the both suspensions. The concentration changes of dissolved PAHs in the second suspension were generally similar with but hysteretic to those in the first suspension. More vigorous desorption and re-absorption of PAHs were induced in the second suspension. Successive sediment suspensions obviously decreased the concentrations of mineral composition and organic matters in the overlying water, which significantly affects multiphase distribution of PAHs. 相似文献

本文利用COMSOL软件建立轻非水相流体(LNAPL)纵向迁移转化模型,采用有限单元法进行求解,预测污染物分布规律,并利用局部分析法进行参数敏感性分析.结果表明,大部分LNAPL会在水面以上聚集形成高的质量分布峰值区域,少部分克服毛细压力向下迁移,在自由相迁移范围内,其溶解相浓度达到或接近饱和溶解度;当顶部污染源消失后,降水会使最大饱和度和浓度出现的深度逐渐下移;多孔介质中的低渗透镜体会使污染物垂向入渗受阻,在其表面聚积形成污染池;渗透系数是控制LNAPL纵向迁移速度及饱和度分布的关键参数. 相似文献

建立了描述挥发性有机物在大气、水、土壤和底泥等环境中动态分布的多相传质模型,并用于分析长江流域江苏段及太湖水系区域内三氟乙酸(TFA)在各环境相中的分布. 采集实测数据约300个,比较实测值与模拟值,对模型的可靠行进行验证. 建立了检测环境中微量TFA前处理及方法. 结果表明:多相传质模型能够正确描述研究区域内环境中的TFA分布. 在给定排放量变化规律的前提下,预测未来10年内研究区域环境水体中ρ(TFA)将接近100 ng/L,接近现阶段欧美发达国家主要水体中的ρ(TFA). 相似文献

多相催化-臭氧氧化法处理模拟有机磷农药废水 总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12
实验通过臭氧氧化法来降解模拟废水中的有机磷农药,将其转化为无害物质,并试验研究了在废水中加入2种自制的催化剂对降解结果的影响。采用气相色谱法测定水中有机磷农药的量。结果表明,只用臭氧处理的情况下1周后有机磷的去除率为78.03%;在催化剂A存在下,去除率可达93.85%;在催化剂B存在下,去除率可达为88.35%。结果表明,臭氧氧化法对此类污水:具有较好的降解作用,尤其在有催化剂存在的情况下处理效果更好,在室温和中性介质中均属于一级反应。 相似文献

水文地质参数本身存在不确定性,为分析水文地质参数不确定性对地下水DNAPLs污染多相流数值模拟模型输出结果的影响,本文针对假想算例展开研究,首先建立了研究区地下水DNAPLs污染多相流数值模拟模型;然后,运用灵敏度分析法筛选对模型输出结果影响较大的参数作为随机变量;为减少反复调用多相流模拟模型产生的计算负荷,运用克里格方法建立多相流模拟模型的替代模型,利用替代模型完成蒙特卡洛随机模拟;最后,对随机模拟的结果进行统计分析并完成地下水污染风险评价.结果表明,利用污染物浓度分布函数可以估算单井遭受污染的风险;利用地下水污染风险图可以对全区地下水遭受不同程度污染的风险大小进行分区,为地下水污染防治提供更加科学、丰富的参考依据. 相似文献
