为考察全氟化合物的土壤生态毒性,以赤子爱胜蚓为模式生物,通过人工土壤染毒方法研究全氟辛酸(PFOA)对蚯蚓急性毒性、回避行为和SOD、CAT等抗氧化酶活性的影响。结果表明,PFOA对蚯蚓的急性毒性作用与染毒时间和染毒浓度相关,实验求得PFOA对蚯蚓毒性作用7和14d的LC50值分别为816.58和792.50mg·kg-1;蚯蚓在160mg·kg-1PFOA暴露浓度下表现出明显的回避反应。在10~120mg·kg-1PFOA长时间暴露下,蚯蚓体内SOD出现"低促高抑"的变化趋势,而GSH-Px则总体上被PFOA所抑制。 相似文献

Arsenic (As) mobilization to the groundwater of Brahmaputra floodplains was investigated in Titabor, Jorhat District, located in the North Eastern part of India. The groundwater and the aquifer geochemistry were characterized in the study area. The range of As concentration in the groundwater varies from 10 to 440 μg/l with mean concentration 210 μg/l. The groundwaters are characterized by high dissolved Fe, Mn, and HCO3 ? and low concentrations of NO3 ? and SO4 2? indicating the reduced conditions prevailing in the groundwater. In order to understand the actual mobilization processes in the area, six core drilling surrounding the two target tube wells (T1 and T2) with high As concentration (three drill-cores surrounds each tube well closely) was done. The sediment was analyzed its chemical, mineralogical, and elemental compositions. A selective sequential extraction suggested that most of the As in the sediment is bound to Fe oxides fractions (32 to 50 %) and the competition for adsorption site by anions (PO4 3?) also accounts to significant fractions of the total arsenic extracted. High variability in the extraction as well as properties of the sediment was observed due to the heterogeneity of the sediment samples with different chemical properties. The SEM and EDX results indicate the presence of Fe, Mn coating along with As for most of the sample, and the presence of As associated minerals were calculated using PHREEQC. The mobilization of As into the groundwater was anticipated to be largely controlled by the reductive dissolution of Fe oxides and partly by the competitive anions viz. PO4 3?. 相似文献

Chlorophenols, typically 4-chlorophenols are highly toxic and non-biodegradable organic contaminants which pose serious threat to the environment, particularly when released into aqueous medium. The removal of these pollutants by efficient method has received worldwide concern in recent past. A new Fe_3O_4–Cr_2O_3 magnetic nanocomposite was synthesized by wet chemical method under ultrasonic irradiation. Microstructure and morphology of the nanocomposite were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR), and a transmission electron microscope(TEM). Magnetic and optical properties were studied by a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and an ultraviolet–visible(UV–Vis) spectrophotometer respectively. The magnetic nanocomposite(MNC) was used as photocatalyst for effective decomposition of 4-chlorophenol in water under ultraviolet(UV) irradiation. 相似文献

This study derives an analytical solution of the advection–dispersion (AD) equation commonly used to describe the transport of pollutants in a semi-infinite homogeneous aquifer. When an extra constant source term is added to the AD equation, it changes the solution of the equation. The AD equation is solved analytically using Laplace transform. Also, the equation is solved numerically using an explicit finite difference method and its stability condition is presented with the aid of matrix method. For the solution of the AD equation the following considerations are made: (1) The dispersion and velocity are considered as time-dependent; (2) dispersion is expressed as directly proportional to the square of velocity; (3) there is also diffusion; (4) there is some initial concentration and the aquifer domain is, therefore, not pollutant-free; (5) There is a time-dependent exponentially decreasing input source; and (6) the concentration gradient is assumed to be zero at the exit boundary. It is found that the contaminant concentration decreases with time contrary to what happens when the extra term is not included. 相似文献

This paper deals with energy management in hybrid electric vehicles. Use of radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) for the problem of energy management gains importance in the present decade. Use of genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) as optimization algorithms for parameter estimation is also well known. However, none of the researchers in the area tried to use GA and PSO as training algorithms for the problem. Hence in this paper, we propose two novel methods, based on RBFNN. The difference between RBFNN-based approaches in the literature and those used in this paper is the use of GA and PSO (i.e. optimising algorithms) as training algorithm to train RBFNNs. Interestingly, it is seen that the proposed approaches of this paper outperform RBFNN-based approaches in the literature with traditional training. 相似文献

The C-Lock system was developed to address the need for an improved method of quantifying and certifying project-level carbon emission reduction credits (CERC). It was designed to enable individual landowners to efficiently quantify, certify, pool, market and trade CERCs generated by agricultural management practices. We provide a general overview of the C-Lock system as it has been implemented for the USA State of South Dakota. C-Lock is comprised of four linked components: a web interface, a client database, a Geographic Information System (GIS) database of soil, climate and generalized land use history parameters, and the CENTURY soil carbon model. The user-friendly interface elicits generalized land-use and crop history information from the client from 1900 through 1989, then explicit annual information from 1990 onward. A climate-zone level landuse and crop management database is used to fill in gaps in the client-provided data. These data are used to drive the CENTURY model, which estimates annual changes in soil carbon stocks. Monte Carlo simulation is used to estimate uncertainty bounds, and these are applied to the CENTURY outputs in order to provide probabilistic estimates of accrued CERCs in a manner that is transparent and verifiable. In a demonstration application, CERCs are estimated for three different land-use scenarios on a representative field in eastern South Dakota: reduced tillage or conservation (no-till) management of a corn (maize)/wheat/soybean rotation, and enrollment in the Conservation Reserve Program, which entails establishing permanent grass cover. ABSTRACT In this paper, we describe the development and laboratory and field evaluation of a continuous coarse (2.5-10 um) particle mass (PM) monitor that can provide reliable measurements of the coarse mass (CM) concentrations in time intervals as short as 5-10 min. The operating principle of the monitor is based on enriching CM concentrations by a factor of ~25 by means of a 2.5-um cut point round nozzle virtual impactor while maintaining fine mass (FM)—that is, the mass of PM2 5 at ambient concentrations. The aerosol mixture is subsequently drawn through a standard tapered element oscillating microbalance (TEOM), the response of which is dominated by the contributions of the CM, due to concentration enrichment. Findings from the field study ascertain that a TEOM coupled with a PM10 inlet followed by a 2.5-um cut point round nozzle virtual impactor can be used successfully for continuous CM concentration measurements. The average concentration-enriched CM concentrations measured by the TEOM were 26-27 times higher than those measured by the time-integrated PM10 samplers [the micro-orifice uniform deposit 相似文献

Degradation of waste polystyrene is carried out in presence of hydrogen using several metal oxide catalysts at elevated temperature
and pressure for recycling. Benzene is used as a solvent for degradation. Initial hydrogen pressure in the autoclave is kept
at 7.0 kg/cm2 (g) and polystyrene degradation is carried out at 240 °C. After degradation, degraded polystyrene residue is separated and
analyzed by Fourier transform infra red (FTIR) spectroscopy whereas filtrate is analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) for finding
the degradation mechanism of polystyrene. Degradation rate is enhanced in presence of hydrogen and time dependent weight average
molecular weight of degraded polystyrene is determined using viscosity method. Degradation rate constants for the different
catalysts are calculated based on the proposed degradation mechanism. Alkali metal oxide catalyst shows higher reactivity
towards polystyrene degradation as compare to the transition metal oxide catalyst i.e., degradation rate constant decreases
with the increase in electro negativity of metal element of the catalyst. Though manganese (IV) oxide is a transition metal
catalyst, but shows higher reactivity due to its reduction towards stable manganese (II) oxide under degradation environment.
Finally, degradation rate constant of polystyrene is correlated with the catalyst activity i.e., electro negativity of metal
