Ferric and manganese binary oxide (FMBO) has been successfully used to remediate arsenic-polluted river, but there still lacks sufficient data to evaluate its effects on environments. The release behaviors of iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and arsenic (As) in different Eh ranges were investigated for As-bearing FMBO sediment after remediating As-polluted DaSha River by FMBO. Under high Eh range (+550 to +400 mV), slight dissolution of Fe and Mn, which corresponded to 12.2% and 25.6%, and less than 5% of As release were observed in 336 h. Under lower Eh range (+50 to −100 mV), elevated extent of the dissolution of Mn and Fe were observed, which corresponded to as high as 61.3% and 70.1%. Under such conditions, the dissolution rate of Mn was higher than that of Fe. Furthermore, from the established relationship of As release and the dissolution of Fe and Mn, the release of As seemed dominated by the dissolution of Fe. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis demonstrated the release of Fe, Mn, As(III), and As(V) after sodium ascorbate-treatment, and the re-adsorption of As(V), as indicated from the increased binding energy of As 3d from 44.78 to 45.83 eV. Surface element composition analysis indicated significant decrease of Mn from 3.22% to 0.54%, slight increase of Fe from 12.45% to 13.67%, and elevated ratio of As from 0.11% to 0.32% accordingly. The main reactions of Fe and Mn dissolution and the pathways of As release under different Eh ranges were also proposed. 相似文献

针对三峡工程建设过程中可能引发的生态与环境问题,基于三峡工程建设前后库区生态环境变化,对17年工程建设过程中,库区及上游开展的各项生态环境保护措施及其效果进行总结评价。结果表明三峡库区各项生态环境保护措施有力得当,移民及工矿搬迁环境压力降低,干流水质基本稳定,地质灾害防控得当,库区及上游生态恢复加速,库底清理清漂彻底,媒介生物密度下降,人居环境逐步改善,库区生态环境质量总体趋好。鉴于库区“限制开发区域”的国家主体功能区定位、生态环境的复杂性及相关影响因素的滞后性,生态环境保护工作仍需要进一步加强,特从管理、技术与经济三方面对三峡水库运行管理期内的库区生态环境保护工作提出建议,旨在为相关管理部门提供决策参考依据 相似文献

考察了在干燥气氛下不同氧化物催化剂对非热等离子体催化降解甲苯的影响。从甲苯降解率、碳平衡、CO2选择性和O3去除4个方面,对比了氧化物催化剂的介电性能、表面供氧能力和比表面积与多孔结构对反应产生影响的强弱。结果表明,催化剂的介电性能有利于甲苯降解率、碳平衡和O3产量的提高,但对CO2选择性和O3去除的影响极小;一定能量密度下,催化剂比表面积与多孔结构对CO2选择性和O3去除所产生的影响要强于介电性能;催化剂表面供氧能力可明显促进反应的进行,其对反应所产生的影响要强于比表面积与多孔结构。 相似文献

Introduction
Effluent organic matter from biological wastewater treatment plants is composed of degradation products and soluble microbial products (SMP). Protein, polysaccharide, humic acid, and DNA were major biomolecules of SMP. Little is known about the effects of SMP as microbially derived precursors on disinfection byproduct formation and speciation in biologically treated wastewater. 针对快速城镇化区域产业快速发展、人口高度密集与排水设施建设滞后间的突出矛盾,以苏州官渎里区域的典型重污染河道——官渎花园内河为研究对象,在分析区域排污特征的基础上,系统总结点污染源、面污染源和内污染源在该类区域的具体表现形式和影响因素,对各类污染物入河量进行调查测算.根据测算结果,官渎花园内河的CODcr、NH3-N、TN和TP年入河量分别为222.54、11.16、16.63和2.56t·a-1.对各污染源贡献率的分析结果表明,工业污染和生活污染为主要污染源,其次为降雨径流污染.在上述测算分析的基础上,结合苏南快速城镇化区域发展特点,提出了若干河道污染控制的对策与建议. 相似文献

Climate change and human disturbance drive catchment erosion and increase riverine sediment load sensitively in small and
medium-sized watersheds. This is not always true in large basins, where aggregation and buffering effects have dampen the
ability to determine the driving forces of sedimentation. Even though there are significant responses to sedimentation in
large river basins, it is difficult to get a precise quantitative assessment of specific drivers. This paper develops a methodology
to identify driving forces that change suspended sediment load in the Upper Yangtze river. Annual runoff and sediment load
data from 1954 to 2005 at the Yichang gauging station in the Upper Yangtze basin, daily precipitation data from 60 meteorological
stations, and survey data on reservoir sediment were collected for the study. Sediment load/rainfall erosivity (S/R), is a
new proxy indicator introduced to reflect human activities. Since the mid-1980s, S/R in the Upper Yangtze has dramatically
declined from 0.21 to 0.03 (×1010 t ha h MJ−1 mm−1), indicating that human activity has played a key role in the decline of the suspended sediment load. Before the mid-1980s,
a higher average S/R is attributed to large-scale deforestation and land reclamation. A significant sediment decrease occurred
from 1959 to 1961 during an extreme drought condition, and an increase in sedimentation in 1998 coincided with an extreme
flood event, which was well recorded in the S/R curve. This indicates that the S/R proxy is able to distinguish anthropogenic
from climate impacts on suspended sediment load, but is not necessarily indicatory in extreme climate events. In addition,
typical drivers of riverine sediment load variation including soil conservation projects, reservoirs construction, and land
