针对沉积物污染问题的研究目前已建立了不同的评价方法与体系,目前常用的结合生物毒性测试的有效应导向分析(EDA)、沉积物毒性鉴别评价(TIE)、证据权重法(WOE)、物种敏感性分布法(SSD)和沉积物质量基准(SQG)等,这些方法在河流、湖泊等水体沉积物中污染物毒性效应表征及沉积物质量评价方面有重要应用.本文指出水生生物毒性测试应用的重要性,根据不同学者的研究内容归纳了水生生物毒性测试的方法学,对沉积物进行水生生物毒性测试的基质处理包括直接采用污染沉积物、洁净沉积物加标以及人工配置沉积物,受试生物主要包括浮游植物、浮游动物、底栖动物和鱼类,毒性试验终点包括急性毒性终点和慢性毒性终点;最后指出水生生物测试存在的问题,并对沉积物质量评价未来发展方向进行展望,以期为我国沉积物生物毒性测试标准方法的建立提供参考.  相似文献

浮叶植物重建对富营养化湖泊氮磷营养水平的影响   总被引:16,自引:1,他引:16  
利用太湖五里湖污染底泥,在不破坏表层沉积物形态和结构的情况下,利用大口径的采样器采集沉积物柱状样,研究浮叶植物荇菜(Limnanthemun nymphoides)在此底泥上适应性生长情况及其对水体以及沉积物中氮磷的影响。结果表明,在培养实验过程中,荇菜生长使上覆水体中的氮、磷营养水平逐渐降低,藻类的生长明显受到克制,水体透明度增加,水质逐渐改善。通过植物根系对沉积物和问隙水中营养盐的直接吸收,使表层(0~5cm)沉积物与问隙水中氮磷营养盐的水平在实验结束后有明皿下降,对于控制沉积物内源营养盐释放有重要的作用。因此,恢复以水生植物为丰的水生生态系统足重建富营养湖泊生态系统和控制湖泊内源负荷的重要措施。  相似文献

沉积物质量基准是对水质基准的补充,对水质管理具有重要意义。目前国际上沉积物质量基准计算方法有十几种。对各种方法的理论基础、数据需求、适用范围等方面进行了概述之后,综合分析了各种方法的理论基础。研究结果认为,应将建立沉积物质量基准的方法分为以生物效应数据为基础的生物效应数据库法和以相平衡分配原理为依据的相平衡分配法。而根据统计方法不同,生物效应数据库法又分为单值基准、双值基准和三轴图法。同时还对美国、加拿大、荷兰、英国、澳大利亚和新西兰的沉积物质量基准研究发展和应用概况进行了分析。结合我国实际情况认为,依赖于大量生物效应数据的生物效应数据库法,目前在我国的适用范围有限,只能用于推导少数几种污染物的基准值。相平衡分配法具有可靠的理论基础而且不需要大量的生物效应数据,具有很大的发展潜力。因此,对于目前沉积物质量基准研究处于初级阶段的我国,更适合使用相平衡分配法计算污染物沉积物质量基准。  相似文献

筛分水平浓度法构建浑河沉积物重金属基准初步研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以浑河水系表层沉积物为研究对象,应用筛分水平浓度法初步探讨了浑河沉积物中4种重金属(铜、铅、锌和镉)沉积物质量基准推荐值。结果表明,筛分水平浓度法获取的浑河沉积物铜、铅、锌和镉的质量基准分别为46.69、39.18、140.03和0.54mg·kg-1(以干质量计)。通过与不同国家及地区指定的重金属质量基准推荐值以及本地区采用其他方法推导的重金属基准推荐值进行比较,推算出本研究获取的4种重金属沉积物质量基准推荐值接近所有数据的中间值。由于本研究中用于推导沉积物质量基准的数据相对较少,导致获取的沉积物重金属质量基准推荐值存在一定的不确定性。  相似文献

研究了江苏宝应湖沉积物浸出液对水生生态系统的生产者斜生栅列藻 (Scenedesmusobilquus)、初级消费者大型氵蚤 (Daphniamagna)和高级消费者斑马鱼 (Brachyddaniorerio)的影响。结果表明 ,沉积物浸出液对大型氵蚤和斑马鱼无明显的急性毒性。但与湖水对照相比 ,浸出液对斜生栅列藻的生长有显著促进作用 ,且随浸出液浓度升高 ,对藻类促进作用越大。化学监测结果表明 ,沉积物浸出液中磷浓度明显高于湖水 ,表明沉积物中磷向水体释放 ,可促进湖泊富营养化。  相似文献

深圳蛇口渔港沉积物重金属分布及潜在生态风险评价   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
沉积物重金属污染对水生生态系统具有潜在危害.渔港是海岸带水环境的重要组成部分.对取自深圳蛇口渔港的10个表层沉积物样品中的As、Cd、Cu、Pb和Zn等典型重金属元素进行了分析,探讨了其空间分布;运用地积累指数法(Igeo)和生态危害指数法(RI),评价了表层沉积物中重金属的富集程度和潜在生态风险,初步探讨了其污染来源.结果表明:(1)蛇口渔港海域沉积物重金属Cu的污染十分严重,Zn和Pb污染较严重,其浓度均为港内>港口>港外;(2)渔港内沉积物重金属的富集达重度污染程度,潜在生态危害风险强.其中,又以Cu的富集程度最高,潜在生态危害风险最强;(3)渔港内Cu的污染,可能与电子工业废水的排放,以及渔业特有的防附着生物涂料有关.  相似文献

对8种重金属的海洋和淡水沉积物的质量基准进行了Box-Whisker图解分析,结果表明,各国水体沉积物重金属质量基准值均在2-3个数量级范围之间变化,相差超过4-5个数量级的极大值的出现,则通常与局部区域沉积物的污染程度和实验所用测试生物的敏感性有关,同时剖析了造成基准差异性的原因,以便从总体上对我国水体沉积物质量基准的制定有所启发和借鉴。  相似文献

Background In recent years, sediments have become a central topic of scientific and public discussion as an important factor for determining water quality. While the quality of surface waters in Germany has significantly improved during the past years, highly contaminated sediments still create a considerable threat to the quality of several European catchment areas. Main features Here, we summarize different concepts and methods for the assessment of sediment quality and report on some novel integrative test methods for assessing sediment toxicity including contaminant re-mobilization during simulated re-suspension events. Results and discussion Currently, different approaches for assessment of sediment pollution exist. While instrumental chemical analyses are not suitable to accurately describe sediment toxicity, combinations of biological and chemical test procedures and integrated approaches, for example weight-of-evidence studies and effect-directed analysis (EDA), have the potential to identify key contaminants. Inter-disciplinary studies combining hydrodynamic and toxicological aspects coupled to real exposure of aquatic organisms to contaminants are currently being developed. Conclusions Monitoring and assessment of sediment quality are of increasing importance, not only for national legislation but also for the implementation of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD). Integrated approaches for the determination of sediment stability play a key role in the appropriate sediment-monitoring strategies.  相似文献

In order to study the pollution of an aquatic ecosystem, it is necessary to analyze not only the levels of chemical pollutants in water, but also those accumulated in the sediment matrix, as well as to assess its ecotoxicological status. The Alqueva reservoir, the largest artificial lake in Europe, was chosen as case study as it constitutes the most important water supply source in southern Portugal. It is located in the Guadiana River Basin, in a semi-arid region with high levels of water scarcity and where agriculture is one of the main activities. The evaluation of sediments comprised: (1) physical and chemical analysis (grain size, pH, organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus); (2) potentially toxic trace elements (Cu, As, Pb, Cr, Cd, Zn and Ni); and (3) ecotoxicological evaluation with Vibrio fischeri, Thamnocephalus platyurus, Daphnia magna, and Heterocypris incongruens. Total trace element concentrations indicated that As, Cd, and Pb surpassed the Canadian levels for the protection of aquatic life, in most of Alqueva’s sites. The results of the toxicity assessment showed that some locations induced acute and chronic toxicity in the species used. Further, the H. incongruens was the most sensitive species as far as the contamination found in the sediment is concerned, followed by the bacteria V. fischeri. This integrative approach, together with the water column quality assessment, allowed a comprehensive evaluation of the environmental quality of this strongly modified water body and will allow the implementation of remediation strategies to obtain a good ecological potential as proposed in the Water Framework Directive.  相似文献

厦门市水体表层沉积物重金属污染生态风险分析   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
沉积物是水环境的基本组成部分,其重金属含量常被作为水环境质量的重要指标之一。以厦门市为例探讨了不同城市化区域水体表层沉积物中重金属的分布特征,并采用沉积物地累积指数、Hakanson潜在生态风险指数等方法对重金属Zn、Pb、Cu、Cd、Cr、As、Hg进行环境风险评估。研究结果表明,厦门水体表层沉积物中Zn、Pb、Cu、Cd、Cr、As、Hg的含量分别为182.2、63.7、31.3、0.19、67.9、10.4、0.11 mg/kg,空间分布呈现出从城市远郊区到中心城区显著增加的趋势;依照地累积指数评价结果显示:7种重金属的污染程度顺序依次为:Hg(Pb(Zn(Cu(Cd(As(Cr;采用Hakanson提出的潜在生态危害指数法,获得厦门市主要水库重金属生态风险构成危害的顺序:Hg(Cd(Pb(As(Cu(Zn(Cr;水体表层沉积物中重金属污染水平与区域城市化水平在一定时期内呈正相关关系,这为我国快速城市化发展过程中水环境恶化问题的改善提出了警示。  相似文献

Background Being an important determinant in aquatic ecosystems, sediments have gotten more and more into focus of scientific and public discussions. While water quality has been significantly improving during recent years, highly contaminated sediments in many European rivers will still have ongoing impact for several centuries from now. Hence, monitoring and assessment of sediment quality are crucial for national legislation as well as the implementation of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD). Aim On the occasion of the retirement of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.?c. Volker Storch, this article reviews the various concepts of sediment assessment and introduces case studies in sediment toxicology which have been carried out in Heidelberg and surrounding areas. Results and Discussion Initially, the article portrays benefits and drawbacks of chemical analytics and biotest systems. The individual approach has only limited informative value, but combining both perspectives allows for a comprehensive characterization of the state of sediments. As examples of toxicity evaluation based on this strategy, weight-of-evidence studies for tiered investigations and integrated sediment assessment are presented. In addition, a combination of chemical fractionation, bioanalytic investigations and chemical analysis – known as ‘effect-directed analysis’ (EDA) – is discussed. This integrated concept eventually aims at the identification of hazardous substance classes or even of single compounds. Finally, the article raises the issue of sediment mobility as an important parameter for risk analyses of highly contaminated legacy sediments within further WFD implementation. Outlook Using various case studies, the article outlines the potentials of integrated approaches for cause-effect analysis of complex environmental samples within aquatic ecosystems as well as for action programs of management plans dealing with chemically polluted rivers. Effect-directed analysis in particular, but also the combined application of acute and mechanism-specific bioassays together with in-situ investigations, complemented by investigations on sediment mobility, appear promising with regard to comprehensive sediment assessment weight-of-evidence studies.  相似文献

水-沉积物界面重金属迁移和转化行为已成为水环境质量研究的热点。因自然、生物、人为活动等驱动的沉积物再悬浮使得沉积物颗粒吸附和结合的重金属可能通过吸附-解吸平衡和氧化还原反应而释放进入上覆水体。随着外在污染源输入逐步得到控制,沉积物再悬浮释放重金属将成为水体重要的内在污染源而对水环境质量和水生生物产生影响。本文综述了最近几年的相关研究文献,对沉积物再悬浮的动力来源及发生机制、再悬浮-重金属释放机制及主要影响因素进行了阐述,探讨了该领域未来可能的研究方向。相关研究发现,当干扰切应力大于沉积物的临界切应力值时,沉积物再悬浮发生,且再悬浮颗粒量随干扰切应力的增强而增大;再悬浮使还原态沉积物暴露于有氧环境,有机质和硫化物的氧化是沉积物结合态重金属释放的主要机理,而沉积物颗粒电性吸附的重金属则通过解吸进入水体;切应力大小、再悬浮水体理化性质、沉积物理化性质以及微生物活性等因素调控着沉积物吸附态或结合态重金属的释放。本文指出再悬浮沉积物释放重金属的去向(再分配机理)以及再悬浮-重金属释放的动力学过程、沉积物悬浮-重金属释放复合预测模型的建立、沉积物悬浮-释放重金属的生物可利用性及生物毒害评价将是本领域需要进一步研究的重点。  相似文献

以一种重要的化工原料硝基苯为研究对象,通过收集、筛选我国本土物种的硝基苯海水生物毒性数据,同时针对我国海区生物特点补充8种典型海洋受试生物的毒理学实验,应用物种敏感度分布(SSD)方法推导了用于保护水生生物的我国硝基苯海水水质基准值。在此基础上,尝试应用2种概率生态风险评估方法初步评估了硝基苯在我国东海椒江口水体中的生态风险。研究结果表明,用于保护我国海水生物的硝基苯水质基准高值为1.42 mg·L-1,低值为0.037 mg·L-1,与应用SSD方法推导的硝基苯淡水水质基准差异不大。商值概率分布法和联合概率曲线法的风险表征结果表明,硝基苯对椒江口中的水生生物存在潜在的生态风险,需要管理部门采取一定的风险管控措施。研究结果有望为我国水质基准、生态风险研究及硝基苯的海水水质标准制定提供参考。  相似文献

Geologic processes strongly influence water and sediment quality in aquatic ecosystems but rarely are geologic principles incorporated into routine biomonitoring studies. We test if elevated concentrations of metals in water and sediment are restricted to streams downstream of mines or areas that may discharge mine wastes. We surveyed 198 catchments classified as "historically mined" or "unmined," and based on mineral-deposit criteria, to determine whether water and sediment quality were influenced by naturally occurring mineralized rock, by historical mining, or by a combination of both. By accounting for different geologic sources of metals to the environment, we were able to distinguish aquatic ecosystems limited by metals derived from natural processes from those due to mining. Elevated concentrations of metals in water and sediment were not restricted to mined catchments; depauperate aquatic communities were found in unmined catchments. The type and intensity of hydrothermal alteration and the mineral deposit type were important determinants of water and sediment quality as well as the aquatic community in both mined and unmined catchments. This study distinguished the effects of different rock types and geologic sources of metals on ecosystems by incorporating basic geologic processes into reference and baseline site selection, resulting in a refined assessment. Our results indicate that biomonitoring studies should account for natural sources of metals in some geologic environments as contributors to the effect of mines on aquatic ecosystems, recognizing that in mining-impacted drainages there may have been high pre-mining background metal concentrations.  相似文献
